The short version: some links on this site may earn us a commission, you never pay more because of it, and money never decides what we recommend.
How this site makes money
Cold Email Lab participates in (or has applied to) affiliate programs run by some of the software companies we review, including programs operated through affiliate networks such as PartnerStack. When you click certain links on this site and then sign up or purchase, the vendor may pay us a commission. That is the site's only source of income. We don't run ads or sell sponsored placements, and no one can pay us to publish or alter a review.
What this costs you
Nothing. Affiliate commissions are paid by the vendor out of their marketing budget. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the vendor's site directly.
How we keep reviews independent
Our conclusions are set before any affiliate consideration. In practice: we compare tools against each vendor's public pricing and documentation and against verified user feedback, and we say clearly when a recommendation is based on research rather than our own hands-on testing; we list weaknesses for every tool we cover, including the ones whose programs pay us; and we recommend against a paid tool whenever a free tier or a cheaper competitor is the better fit, even though that earns us nothing.
Identifying affiliate links
Outbound links to vendors on this site may be affiliate links, and are marked with the sponsored attribute for search engines. If a specific page contains no affiliate links at all (for example, because a program application is still pending), the links simply point to the vendor's website.
